Wondering what this is all about? What prompted us to "start a blog"?

It all started while on a road trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
We were noticing billboard after billboard advertising Wall Drug or some other "attraction".
We began to joke about paying to put a billboard up with a picture of our family with the caption, "(enter city or site we approved of) - Robinson Family Approved".
We wondered if it would entice anyone enough to go to "said attraction" because it was "Robinson Approved," or if we gave something an "eh, it's so-so" would people choose to stay away? Would we have any sort of impact on people's decisions?...
Fast Forward to....
September 1, 2018
It was Scott Frost's first game as the Head Coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. (Did you really think as a Nebraskan couple, our huge monumental life changing experience DIDN'T revolve around Husker football??)
As we wandered around downtown Lincoln, we found ourselves at "The Arcade". A basement bar with arcade games, a cassette tape wall, and drinks served out of mason jars. We felt like we found a secret mecca in the dark damp underground.
Did we want to tell anyone about our new "secret" hideout?
Then we ended up at the Hilton Bar. Yep. The bar at the hotel. It was close to the stadium, and they had fun themed drinks. :) So we had some of those drinks and appetizers in the florescent-lit bar (seriously, the lighting was weird) and had a great visit about how "cool" we were. How we enjoyed traveling and wanted to see the world, and how some people just don't know things, and how people should want to hear our opinions. (Remember...we were getting ready for Scott Frost's first game. Secret Hideout Bar. Themed Drinks.)
The conversation continued. The billboards were brought up again, and then a blog. We hovered over the blog idea.
A blog is a WHOLE lot less expensive than a billboard. So for now, a blog it will be.
And there you have it!
That's how the blog came to be! We don't really know where this will go, or how often we'll post anything, or really what we're going to post in general. We're rebels that way! But we invite you to...
